Hello! My name is Sydney Kerr and I am so excited to be apart of Stories Untold! I am originally from just outside of Toronto, Canada, but for the past four years I have been living in Parkland, Florida. These past four years in South have definitely transformed and changed me in many ways. The hardship that I learned the most from was the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting. I was in the Freshman building where the gunman was, and what my peers and I witnessed definitely changed us all from that day forward. Through this experience and going to therapy for the first time ever afterwards, I was able to learn more about who I am, connect better with my mental health, and that we are all connected as humans through our love and passion we show towards each other. The most precious thing to me is my family. They are my whole world and I have no idea where I would be without them, they have helped me through so much and I am so lucky to have them by my side supporting me through life. Some of my favorites activities to do when I’m bored are read, play basketball, swim, do my makeup and online shop. I love to travel and can’t wait to see more of the world once we are able to travel again. My favorite foods are pizza and sushi! I am a film major and a die hard fan for Clueless or any rom com! I feel so grateful to be apart of this amazing team and organization and can’t wait to go on this journey!
